Ever wondered how a Prince Charming should be like, besides riding on a white stallion and in a shining armour? Well, the days have gone by where chivalry and what not in the past have become rather obsolete. Now, in this age, the Prince Charming should have several of the below qualities =)
#1 Money - Yes, a Prince Charming should be rich. Have you ever heard of a poor prince? No, of course not. Nobody wants their prince to be poor like a street rat. Girls want to lead a comfortable life, to be fair, so do guys. But, that's for a girl to write about. Anyway, back to the topic, girls want money, money, money. You can do plenty of things with money i.e. shopping, spa, manicure, pedicure etc etc. And of course, on events like anniversaries, Valentine's Day, birthdays, Christmas, a Prince Charming should know where to splurge on. Hence, money tops the list of criteria required of a Prince Charming.
#2 Car - An obvious upgrade from the stallion. Who wants to ride a stallion and get tanned under the scorching sun of Malaysia or dripping wet during monsoon seasons? Of course a car would be 100x better. Don't even think of getting a motorcycle, although it might be Harley Davidson or some other fancy bikes. Getting off a luxurious car is way cooler than down a motorcycle. The car is obviously needed to chauffeur the girl around everywhere she wants, to eat, to club, to friend's place, to places that you don't want to go but you have to to win her. So, invest in a car with good fuel saving engine.
#3 House - Another upgraded item from the castle. If you do not have a house, who wants to be with you. Nobody wants to stay in a small cramped area, where you have to share toilets with other strangers. Prince Charmings should have a house, although it might be small, but at least you own it. But, nowadays, small houses do not attract the attention of many, so be prepared to take a 20 year loan and buy a luxurious apartment with all the facilities under the roof. Of course, it would be better if you have criteria #1 and spend it on a bungalow in a posh neighbourhood
#4 Time - As a Prince Charming, you are expected to spend most, if not all your free time with her. To listen to her, to pay attention to her whim and fancies, to do things with her and of course when you are with her, you pay everything that she buys. I suppose nobody wants their Prince to be too busy to spend any time with her. That's why long distance relationship often end up in failure.
#5 Miscellaneous - This portion is like a bonus if you have all the above 4. Things such as looks, of course it would be better if you are tall, dark, handsome, suave, extrovert, but if you have none of those but you are a multi billionaire, you will still get a girl. Other qualities like talents in cooking, singing, whatever else, is like I say, a bonus. Criteria #1 - #3 are still of the utmost importance.
Okay, I expect many people to come scolding me if they chance upon this post. But, that is based on what I observe and think. Of course, not every girl demands of those. I am sort of an idealist that there is still true love in this world. Maybe the love like in Titanic where you sacrifice for the other half no longer exists, but there are many other ways of showing your love. Like for example, I wouldn't mind traveling just to her and spend a few hours with her, you know, things like that. So, good luck in becoming a Prince Charming or finding one.
